In Sub Par, the player controls a yellow submarine lighting up the dark depths of the ocean. Maneuvering around obstacles, collecting as much treasure and health before getting captured by the pursuing sea monster. The goal is to reach the end with a healthy amount of gold without getting captured.
For the Global Game Jam, game developers have 48 hours to conceptualize, design, and create a game. The theme of this year's Jam was 'waves'. The developers for this game, Sub Par, came to me wanting a soundtrack the was dark, eerie, and gave an underwater feeling.
